Kenzie turns five

Wow, where did it go? I’m amazed that my baby is now five! He was the first to have a big boy’s party this year and decided to throw a dinosaur-themed disco party. He brought his entire group and had the best time on the bounce castle and performing his dance moves to the max.

Kenzie is growing into a bubbly, friendly, and cheerful boy who’s too shy to talk to anyone. He has friends everywhere we go and is full of confidence.

He does not let his ears be an obstacle. He is proud of his cochlear implants, and if someone asks his opinion, he’s confident enough to tell them about his amazing ears and how they function. He also demonstrates how they can’t hear when it is removed from the magnet. He refers to them as his ‘ superior abilities.’

A majority of the time, children don’t ask for or look at their cochlear implant. The first thing they notice is Kenzie’s huge smile, as well as his warm and bubbly personality.

He’s doing very well at school, and his reports show that he’s a well-liked member of his class. He also gets along well with his classmates.

He truly inspires me and makes me incredibly satisfied every day with the confident and amazing boy he’s growing into.
