How To Manage Parental Consent, Family Settings And Realms/Multiplayer Access For A Child Account
Minecraft: Bedrock Edition requires an Xbox Live or Microsoft account, even if the game is not played on Xbox or any other Microsoft platform. Parents can manage these accounts for their children.
To access the multiplayer features of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on Xbox consoles, you must have a subscription to Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass.
Important: Child accounts are created by anyone under 16 in the US, EU, and South Korea. If the child’s account does not have an adult account linked to it, the adult will need to create a Microsoft account. They can then connect the newly created child account. Only parent accounts can modify settings.
