Freddie’s grandparents come to visit!
“We are very proud grandparents of the beautiful Freddie. We’re currently wrapping up a two-week trip to visit him and his mummy. It’s hard to be so far from them, but we have been lucky enough to see them twice since August 20,21.
It’s been great to see Freddie interact with his friends, the adults he meets on a daily basis out here, and the animals at Camel Park. It was wonderful to watch his interactions and reactions with his friends. FaceTime is a wonderful tool that we use every day when we are back in the UK. Freddie will always have a strong relationship with us, and he’ll see us. We are careful to only speak to Freddie’s hearing side, but sometimes we forget and speak to him with either ear. “We don’t think that Freddie’s profound bilateral deafness is what defines him – we just accept it as a part of his personality, perfectly him. We won’t apologize for our bias.”
