Everything Happens For A Reason

A while back, I left a business. I remember how I felt when I left. I felt a sense of anger and guilt. I was overwhelmed by defeat and despair. I spent three years developing that business, and it was easily capable of becoming a nine-figure enterprise at the very least. But I left.

Then, I began to question whether life was all about a purpose. In the back of my head, I could hear the voice of God. I knew only He could transform a mess into an important message, a challenge into a powerful testimony, a struggle into a triumph, and a victim into a victor. I knew that there must be a purpose behind it all. I couldn’t see it at the moment.

We feel defeated whenever we fail. It’s nature. It’s part of the human condition. All of us go through it. Does it make you feel good? Nope. No. You can’t expect the world always to be full of rainbows and sun. There is always a reason behind the things you experience. The most important lessons that you can learn in your life come from failure.

Too often, people run from failure, but it is something that should be welcomed and embraced. Success will not teach you anything. If you always live on the easy road, you will never progress. You can gain real strength and progress by stepping outside your comfort zone.

Even though I know this, it doesn’t make me feel better. I can only describe the journey. I can only tell how it feels. I can only describe the pain. I can’t fix it. Nobody can. Through the pain of our failures and most difficult experiences, we can create something beautiful. It is a renewal of the spirit, a birthing of rejuvenation, and an overall belief that greater things are to come.

You’ve probably realized that all things in life do occur for a purpose if you have belief in God or Allah, Buddha, the universal unity that unites us. Even if you don’t know why, it happens. You realize that, in the distant future, in an unknown place, you would never have experienced this wonderful event if you had not endured the earlier tragedy.

Why Things Happen for a Reason

My heart goes out to anyone who is going through a tragic event right now. I understand the despair of those who are suffering. I may be just a very sensitive person. But then again, tragedy and failure affect everyone. We may be affected differently by it, but we are all involved.

There’s a good reason why these things happen. It’s not by accident that you meet with failure and tragedy. Nature uses them to chip away at our lives. It doesn’t happen if you sit around feeling sorry for yourself. You must turn the mess into a positive message. It’s possible that you don’t realize it yet, but the grand plan is in place.

As I left that business, one thought was running through my head. All I could focus on was the idea that humans were designed to thrive and not just survive. I was in survival mode. I was living in survival mode, both mentally and emotionally. My spirituality was also on autopilot. I was trying my best to survive the emotions that had changed my perspective and engulfed me.

It was only then that I realized this experience, this situation, was for my benefit. And I did thrive. It’s amazing how accepting things and not running from them can change your life. I was placed here for a purpose. I was put here to help others see the value in their mistakes and not run away from them. There are many other reasons why I exist, but this is certainly one of them.

It was as if I had become more and more detached from others. I was so absorbed in my s**t that I could not see the forest for the trees. Since that experience, I’ve experienced some amazing things.

A long time ago, I ignored building relationships and networking. After that experience, however, I became consumed with helping others. I was able to create immense value without being asked. I built bridges and not walls. If you want to move forward in your life, you must do this. By adding value to the world and helping others succeed, you can form the strongest and most lasting bonds.

The first step is to prepare yourself for the future

A powerful realization that you can have is that everything in your life happens for a purpose. It’s all preparing you for the future. You’re getting ready for a brighter and more exciting future. It is impossible to enjoy the joy of success without experiencing the pain of failure. Even if these tragedies are beyond our control, they have a purpose.

It doesn’t make any sense. I know it. You don’t know why someone died, left you for another person, or a business collapsed. You’re only dealing with pain at that time. Once the pain is over, you can move forward slowly. Things start to happen that you wouldn’t experience if you hadn’t suffered.

You become more resilient

You become more resilient when you experience failure, tragedy, and defeat. Not when you are suffering. Over time, as the days, weeks, and months pass. You will often never be able to get over the biggest heartbreaks of your life. It’s okay. It makes you more resilient. It prepares you for the future.

But tough people do. The truth is that tough times never last. The scars we get in life remind us of where we have been but don’t dictate where we are going. Do not wallow in your misery. Don’t wallow in misery. Sometimes, the simple things are the most important.

You realize that you cannot control everything and shouldn’t. You can’t always control what happens in your life. You can, however, control your response. According to an old saying, 90% of your life is how you respond to what you experience.
