Family Friendly Brunch Events
Swank Specialty Produce, Swank Farms invited me to their first Bunch of the Season. A friend told me about the Swank Table dinners last season. I remember checking her Facebook all night, hoping she would post more photos. As many of you know, I don’t travel to East Boca very often. Swank Farms is approximately an hour from Boca. It was well worth the drive to Swank Farms Brunch.
The best part about the experience was that it was a family event. Kurt and I had the opportunity to sit down to a delicious meal, and we also got to meet Heather and Andy from Local Mom Scoop. Have you ever had the opportunity to enjoy a multi-course meal with no interruptions?
B moved back and forth between our table and the children’s table while eating. B spent the day playing with farm animals, jumping romp and making arts and crafts. It was a South Florida brunch experience that they promised would be unique.
What to Expect From Swank Farms and Swank Specialty Produce Events
To get to the farm, you turn right onto a dirt road. Swank Farms workers greeted us on the road and checked our vehicles before leaving. You can get canapes when you arrive. A canape is a small, decorated and sometimes small food that you can hold in your hands and eat in one bite. Including:
- Pecan Cinnamon Rolls Crispy Pork Belly, Crispy Korean Melon
- Smoked Eggplant Toast, Ricotta, Tomatoes, Nepitella, Honey Drizzle
- Chicken Liver Mousse with Minced Chives, Shaved Radish and Egg
- Cornbread French Toast with Honey Butter Syrup & Green Fennel
I was also introduced by Tito’s Vodka and Alta Palla Sparkling Water to a new beverage. Kurt and I joined Darrin Swank and Jodi Swank on a farm tour. B and her friends explored the fields while B walked around to see the farm in action.
